These Terms govern your use of the SPX Internet website and your interactions with us when we assist you in ordering Spectrum® residential services. By using our site or requesting assistance, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing spxinternet.com, contacting us, submitting a form, or authorizing us to place an order with Spectrum on your behalf, you acknowledge you have read and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional notices we provide. If you do not agree, do not use the site or our services.

Eligibility & Service Areas

  • You must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States.
  • Service availability is determined by Spectrum and varies by address. Not all speeds or features are available in all areas.
  • We may decline or discontinue assistance at our discretion where permitted by law.

Orders & Authorizations

  • When you request an availability check, quote, or order, you authorize SPX to share your information with Spectrum and to communicate on your behalf to facilitate your request.
  • All final service agreements are between you and Spectrum. Spectrum may require identity verification, credit review, or deposits per its policies.
  • Appointment dates and installation methods (self‑install vs. professional) are set by Spectrum and subject to change.

Pricing, Promotions & Taxes

Pricing, fees, promotions and plan details are set by Spectrum and may change without notice. Quotes we provide reflect information available at the time we check your address.

Installation & Appointments

  • Installation dates and windows are offered based on Spectrum’s technician availability and your address.
  • Missed appointments or rescheduling may result in delays or fees per Spectrum policy.
  • Self‑install kits are available in many areas; you are responsible for following instructions and ensuring safe setup.

Equipment & Ownership

  • Modems, routers, set‑top boxes, phone adapters and other equipment may be owned by Spectrum and provided for use during service.
  • Upon cancellation, you must return Spectrum‑owned equipment in good working order to avoid unreturned equipment charges.
  • Customer‑owned equipment must meet Spectrum’s compatibility requirements.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse our website or services. Prohibited activities include:

  • Attempting to breach security, interfere with site operation, or scrape without permission.
  • Submitting false information, impersonating others, or using the services for unlawful purposes.
  • Infringing third‑party rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights.

Your use of Spectrum’s network is additionally governed by Spectrum’s acceptable use and subscriber policies.

Home Phone & E911

If you order Spectrum Home Phone, E911 availability and functionality depend on your service and equipment. During power or internet outages, calling—including E911—may be unavailable unless you have backup power. Follow Spectrum’s guidance for emergency calling and backup solutions.

TV Content & Spectrum TV App

Channel lineups, on‑demand libraries, and app/device compatibility are provided by Spectrum and may change. Geographic blackouts and content rights may limit access to certain programming.

Billing & Payment

  • Billing for services you order is administered by Spectrum under your Spectrum account.
  • Payment methods, auto‑pay, late fees and collections are governed by Spectrum’s terms.
  • SPX does not charge separate fees for standard ordering assistance.

Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

  • To change or cancel Spectrum service, contact Spectrum per your subscriber agreement.
  • Return any Spectrum‑owned equipment promptly to avoid charges.
  • If you scheduled through SPX and need appointment changes, contact us and we will assist where possible.

Privacy

Your use of our site and ordering assistance is subject to our Privacy Policy. Spectrum’s handling of your data is subject to Spectrum’s privacy notices.

Intellectual Property

  • Site content, including text, graphics, logos and design elements, is owned by SPX or its licensors and protected by law.
  • Spectrum®, Spectrum Internet® and related marks are trademarks of Charter Communications. Use of Spectrum trademarks on this site indicates authorized retailer status; no endorsement is implied.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without permission.

Disclaimers & Warranties

  • Our website and information are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
  • We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding accuracy, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Service details are provided by Spectrum and may change; availability is not guaranteed until confirmed by Spectrum.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SPX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the site or ordering assistance. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed one hundred (100) US dollars.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless SPX and its officers, employees and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the site or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and the United States, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

YOU AND SPX AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE, CLAIM OR CONTROVERSY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING ARBITRATION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, AND NOT IN A CLASS, REPRESENTATIVE OR CONSOLIDATED ACTION.

  • Forum & Rules: Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The Federal Arbitration Act (FAA) governs interpretation and enforcement of this provision.
  • Location & Procedure: Arbitration may be conducted in Essex County, New Jersey, or by telephone/video or on written submissions, as the arbitrator deems appropriate.
  • Small Claims: Either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court instead of arbitration.
  • Opt‑Out: You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by sending written notice to: SPX Internet, Attn: Legal, One Flexon Plaza, Newark, NJ 07114, United States.
  • Class Action Waiver: You may only bring claims in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

This section does not apply where prohibited by law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above indicates the latest revision. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (e.g., by posting a notice on our site). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
